After a Performance Task has been assigned and students have started answering questions, you can view student responses in real time from Teacher View. This gives you a glimpse of your students' progress and allows for intervention sooner, if necessary.
Note: Real-time view of student responses does not include grading, as students have not officially submitted their work. You can grade final submissions using the Submissions View.
Viewing Student Responses to Questions
- Below and to the right of each question, you will see a "# Responses" link
- Click the link
- If there are 0 responses, nothing will happen as there are no responses to display
- If there are 1 or more responses, a table showing each student's name and response will appear
- If the table is long, scroll up and down to view all responses
- Close the table of responses by clicking the X on the top right corner
- As more questions are answered by students, the "# Responses" will automatically change to reflect the current number of responses
Viewing Student Responses for Questions that are Tables
- Below and to the right of each table, you will see "Responses from # Students (click cells to view)". This lets you know how many students have started responding on the table
- Hover over a table cell, and the "# Responses" will appear on the bottom right corner
- Click on a cell
- If there are 0 responses, nothing will happen as there are no responses to display
- If there are 1 or more responses, a table showing each student's name and response for that cell will appear
- If the table of responses is long, scroll up and down to view all responses
- Close the table of responses by clicking the X on the top right corner
Student responses will update in Teacher View every 30 seconds. Responses that have been entered since you last viewed a response table will be highlighted in yellow when viewing it again.
