Assign a Project or Activity

To Assign a Project or Activity

Students will need to be in your class to receive an assignment. Once you have created a class, invite students to join by giving them a Join Code. See also Join a Class (student) and Join a Class (teacher).

Once students have joined your class, you can follow these steps to assign a Project or Activity.

1. Open the lesson you want to assign.
2. Click on the Assign icon on the right navigation bar.
3. Assign whole classes by selecting the class from your list of classes.
   • OR expand each class and select individual students to assign to specific students.
4. Click the Assign button at the bottom to complete the process.

Tip: If a student tells you that they cannot see the assigned lesson in their My Lessons and you see the student's name on the class list in your Class Manager, it just means the student joined after you assigned the lesson. This typically occurs when a student returns from being absent.

1. Open the lesson again.
2. Click on the Assign icon on the right navigation bar.
3. Click the down arrow and expand the class list. The student will be listed, but the box showing the lesson assigned to the student will be unchecked. Check the box, and you're almost there.
4. Click the Assign button at the bottom to complete the process.
