Find Lessons

There are three ways to find lessons to teach on NextLesson.

• Lesson Search Bar: If you know the name or topic of the lesson you are looking for, use the lesson search bar at the top of the page.
• Browse by Standard: Click on the orange Browse by Standard button from your NextLesson dashboard to browse a complete standards list for a grade and subject, or browse a NextLesson-aligned pacing guide.
• Browse All Lessons: Click on the orange Browse All Lessons button from your NextLesson dashboard to browse all lessons and apply filters.

To Browse All Lessons

Click Browse All Lessons from your NextLesson dashboard. Then set desired filters. 

Filters at the top of the page:

1. Select grade(s) that you want to view.
2. Select subject(s).

Filters on the Left:

1. Select a Lesson Type to view specific lesson types.
2. Select Seasonal filters to view topical lessons related to the time of year and current events.
3. Select Interest filters to find lessons on specific interest categories such as sports, celebrities, and movies.

To Browse by Pacing Guide

1. Click Browse by Standard from your NextLesson dashboard.
2. Click By Pacing Guide.
3. Select a pacing guide from the drop-down menu.
4. Select grade level.
5. Select topic.

To Browse by Standard

1. Click Browse by Standard from your NextLesson dashboard.
2. Click By Standard.
3. Select the Standard set from the drop-down menu.
4. Select Subject.
5. Select Grade level.
6. Select Standard.

Alert: If a search shows little or no results, be sure to check that you do not have undesired filters still applied.
